Export your progress as a PDF
This guide shows how to export your PrepAI dashboard as a PDF you can share with a mentor or recruiter — generated client-side, so your data isn't sent anywhere to produce the file.
When this is useful
- Showing a mentor what you've covered so they can coach the gaps.
- Giving a recruiter evidence that you've prepared systematically.
- Keeping a personal record of milestones and streaks over time.
Steps
- Open the dashboard. Sign in and go to your dashboard (
/dashboard). - Let it load. Wait for your charts (streaks, per-track completion, milestones, scores) to render.
- Choose export. Use the dashboard's export action to generate a PDF.
- Save or share. The PDF downloads to your device; attach it to an email or message.
What's in the PDF
The export captures the same picture you see on screen — your practice streak, per-track completion, milestones, and mock-interview score trend — laid out for printing and sharing.
Good practice
- Export before a real interview as a study summary and a confidence boost.
- Re-export periodically to see the change over weeks, not days.
- Pair it with specifics. A PDF plus a sentence ("I focused on Node.js and microservices this month") tells a clear story.
Privacy
The PDF is built in your browser. Producing it doesn't upload your data anywhere — consistent with PrepAI's privacy model, where your code runs locally and your analytics belong to your account.
FAQ
Does exporting cost anything? No — it's part of the free experience.
